Slicing blades are tools.  As with any tool, the blades needs to be maintained to provide the maximum return on the investment.  Honing is

a critical part of maintaining a blade.

 

New hones and replacement parts are available for both 28” and 46” drum slicers.  Call Hansaloy for your specific requirements.
